Participatory Investor Series with Proximate
Futureproof Studio and Proximate are collaborating on a Participatory Investor Series. The purpose is to chronicle the growing movement for participatory investing, and help leaders integrate it into their institutions.
Community Fund Platform Spinoff
Through aspects of mutual support, network accountability, and shared financial capital, the community fund platform works directly with impact incubators and accelerator programs to connect social entrepreneurs to new sources of capital at scale and community-led processes to evaluate and fund their projects and those of their peers.
To make funding decisions more decentralized and inclusive, we use a community-led evaluation approach. It enables entrepreneurial communities to identify criteria and prioritize funding allocation.
The platform strengthens partnerships and increases access to finance for social entrepreneurs to close the SDG Finance Gap and achieve the SDG 17 targets.
Effective Partnership Brokering
We advise and match philanthropic funders to the right incubator and accelerator partner for co-building a fund platform.
Community-Led Evaluation
We use participatory design to enable entrepreneurial communities to self-evaluate startups and make their own funding decisions.
Democratized and rapid financing
We mobilize and distribute quickly diverse sources of capital for financing the startups chosen by the social entrepreneurs.
